November 2003 Meeting

Understanding the Principles for Reliable Integration

The November 2003 CSSC meeting will be held at PerkinElmer in Shelton, CT.  Wilhad Reuter will discuss the principles of reliable integration, including data collection rates and robust integration parameters.  Dinner will be provided, and will consist of a hot buffet with chicken and fish, pasta, vegetables, salad, beverages, coffee and dessert.  For those who have special dietary needs, please contact Wilhad Reuter directly.  A plant tour will be available for those who arrive by 5 pm.

Please Note: All attendees are advised to drive around to the back of the PerkinElmer building, past the circle on your right; then park in the visitor parking slots to your immediate right.  Take the walkway down to the circle and enter the building through the left-most of the two double doors.  Please give your name to the security guard at the desk. He/she will then direct you to the cafeteria where the social hour will be held and from where the plant tours will originate.  Once in the building just follow the CSSC signs. We will be eating in the cafeteria located on your immediate right as you enter the building, just past security.   

From LaGuardia Airport: Follow Van Wyck Expressway to Whitestone Expressway which runs into Whitestone Bridge. Cross bridge and continue on the Hutchinson River Parkway. The Hutchinson River Parkway will run into the Merritt Parkway at the Connecticut state line. Follow the Merritt Parkway North to Exit 52, Route 8 North to Exit 12. Turn left and go to 2nd light. Turn left onto Bridgeport Avenue. 1st left is PerkinElmer.

From Kennedy Airport: Follow Van Wyck Expressway to Whitestone Expressway which runs into Whitestone Bridge. Directions from this point are the same as from LaGuardia Airport.

From Westchester Airport: Ask at tollgate for road to King Street, Route 120A. Turn right on King Street, continue about three miles to Merritt Parkway East. Take Merritt Parkway to Exit 52, Route 8 North to Exit 12. Turn left and go to 2nd light. Turn left onto Bridgeport Avenue. 1st left is PerkinElmer.

From Windsor-Bradley Airport: Take I-91 South to Hartford and watch for Wilbur Cross Parkway. Wilbur Cross Parkway runs into Merritt Parkway. Follow Merritt Parkway to Exit 52, Route 8 North to Exit 12. Turn left and go to 2nd light. Turn left onto Bridgeport Avenue. 1st left is PerkinElmer.

From Hartford: I-91 southbound and follow directions from Windsor-Bradley Airport.

From Boston: Take Massachusetts Turnpike. Watch for US Route 15 and Hartford Sign. Take I-91 southbound to Wilbur Cross Parkway and follow directions from Windsor-Bradley Airport.

From Long Island: Take parkways to Whitestone Bridge. Cross bridge and follow directions from La Guardia Airport.

From New Haven: Take I-95 South to Milford Exit 38, Milford Parkway, which leads to the Merritt Parkway, entrance #57. Follow the Merritt South to Exit 52, Route 8 North to Exit 12. Turn left and go to 2nd light. Turn left onto Bridgeport Avenue. 1st left is PerkinElmer.

From New Jersey: Cross Tappan Zee Bridge. Watch for New England signs to Cross Westchester Parkway, I-287 East.  Directions from this point are the same as from NYC.
