Submit Contributed Presentation


The Connecticut Separation Science Council (CSSC) is issuing a call for contributed presentations for the ninth CSSC Csaba Horváth Medal Award Symposium. This symposium  will be held on Tuesday, April 28th through Wednesday, April 29th 2009. The program will feature noted speakers representing various disciplines using techniques and applications in rapidly expanding areas of separation science.  Both oral and poster presentations are requested.

The presentation content should describe practical applications of separation science in an academic, pharmaceutical, industrial or environmental discipline. The deadline for submitting an abstract is March 15, 2007 for the all presentations. The abstract will be included in the program.  There is no cost for submitting a presentation; however there is a registration cost to attend the symposium.

 Oral Presentation Submission Guidelines

1. The deadline for oral presentations is February 15, 2009.
2. The presentation must be made using electronic Microsoft PowerPoint.
3. No direct sales presentations are allowed!
4. The CSSC reserves the right to reject any presentation at any time.
5. All presenters who attend the symposium must register for the symposium separately.
6. All presenters must be aware that this is a PUBLIC forum, and all information included
in the presentation and abstracts must be approved for public dissemination. It is the presenter's responsibility to secure the approval of all intellectual property holders prior to participation in the symposium.

 Poster Submission Guidelines

1. The deadline for poster submission is February 15, 2009.
2. The poster must fit in the space provided (4’ X 6’).
3. No direct sales presentations are allowed!
4. The CSSC reserves the right to reject any poster at any time.
5. All authors who attend the symposium must register for the symposium separately and pay the registration fee. At least one author must be present at the symposium.
6. The CSSC reserves the right to cancel the poster session due to low turnout.
7. All authors must be aware that this is a PUBLIC forum, and all information included
in the posters and abstracts must be approved for public dissemination. It is the author’s 
responsibility to secure the approval of all intellectual property holders prior to participation in the poster session.
