 CSSC 2004 Call for Posters

The Connecticut Separation Science Council (CSSC), with Title Sponsor Pfizer, is issuing a Call for Posters for their upcoming symposium CSSC 2004. This one-day event will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. The program will include a Vendor Exhibition/Reception, Luncheon, and feature noted speakers representing various disciplines using techniques and applications in rapidly expanding areas of separation science.

The poster content should describe practical applications of separation science in an academic, pharmaceutical, industrial or environmental discipline. The deadline for submitting an abstract is March 26, 2004 for the poster presentations. The abstract will be included in the program. There is a $500 cash prize for the best academic poster submitted. Final poster size must be no larger than 4’x 6’. There is no cost for submitting a poster, however there is a registration cost to attend the symposium. Please see the guidelines below prior to submitting an abstract.

Guidelines:

1. The deadline for poster submission is Friday, March 26, 2004.
2. The poster must fit in the space provided (4’ X 6’).
3. No direct sales presentations are allowed!
4. The CSSC reserves the right to reject any poster at any time.
5. All authors who attend the symposium must register for the symposium separately and pay the
registration fee.  At least one author must be present at the symposium.
6. The cash prize is for academic posters only.
7. The decisions of the judges are final.
8. The CSSC reserves the right to cancel the poster session due to low turnout.
9. All authors must be aware that this is a PUBLIC forum, and all information included
in the posters and abstracts must be approved for public dissemination.  It is that author’s 
responsibility to secure the approval of all intellectual property holders prior to participation
in the poster session.
